We are seeking an experienced Mold Production Manager to oversee the comprehensive mould manufacturing operations and lead the technical teams to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

  • Directing all aspects of mould fabrication, including CAD/CAM programming, CNC operations, EDM processing, wire cutting, milling, grinding, gun drilling, and assembly.
  • Leading engineering operations, including process engineering, in-process quality control, and surface finishing.
  • Overseeing production planning and scheduling to meet delivery commitments.
  • Implementing and monitoring departmental and individual KPIs.
  • Managing production costs and departmental budget.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives in quality and efficiency.

Quality Assurance

  • Maintaining and enhancing quality management systems.
  • Overseeing quality documentation, including manuals, procedures, and control plans.
  • Managing internal and external audit processes.
  • Developing and implementing quality improvement strategies.
  • Ensuring compliance with ISO standards and company policies.

Customer Relations

  • Serving as the primary technical contact for key clients.
  • Participating in client meetings and technical reviews.
  • Managing customer expectations and resolving quality concerns.
  • Ensuring timely communication regarding orders, deliveries, and technical matters.

Team Leadership

  • Supervising and developing engineering and technical staff.
  • Implementing training programs to enhance team capabilities.
  • Enforcing workplace policies and safety standards.
  • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Maintaining 5S standards throughout the department.

Supplier Management

  • Evaluating and managing supplier relationships.
  • Negotiating costs and ensuring quality standards.
  • Monitoring supplier performance and capacity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in mould manufacturing, with emphasis on new mould development and production processes.
  • Demonstrated progression in leadership roles.
  • Expert knowledge of mould fabrication processes and technologies.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and CNC programming.
  • Very good English communication abilities (written and verbal).
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems.
  • Experience with ISO standards and audit processes.
  • Professional maturity and strong leadership presence.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
