The Facilities & Maintenance Manager is primarily responsible for the accountability and control over manufacturing equipment and facilities and maintenance to ensure no production disruptions. Management of Robotics, PCL equipment and Automation is a critical part of the overall requirements in developing a world-class facility including the following:

• Reporting on all maintenance activities and preventative maintenance plans, daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
• Ensuring all maintenance activities translated into economical, consistent, and cost-effective processes.
• Ensuring that maintenance activities are effectively managed, ensuring that the plant equipment, facility, people resources, and technology are utilized to maximum potential.
• Ensuring that maintenance has effective systems for planning and managing spares.
• Ensuring that 5S is developed and maintained under maintenance areas.
• Developing and implementing all maintenance process standards and systems and promoting a culture of continuous improvement in plant maintenance and equipment performance, utilizing best practice plant KPIs.
• Coordinating maintenance worker efforts to make sure employer property like buildings and grounds are kept up.
• Responding to emergency calls for maintenance.
• Managing the setup and take down of different events.
• Carrying out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues.
• Checking electrical and hydraulic systems of buildings to ensure functionality.
• Monitoring equipment inventory and placing orders when necessary.
• Monitoring and tracking expenses and controlling the budget for maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with emphasis on Electrical and Mechanical engineering.
• Experience in maintenance covering all facets of manufacturing facility with extensive managerial experience.
• At least 8 years experience in a supervisory-related position, ideally coming from a medium-volume and high manufacturing process, preferably hands-on.
• Experience in process controls, materials handling, multiple PLC platforms and other programmable control systems.
• Track record of successfully managing multiple large-scale projects.
• Strong management, analytical, strategic thinking, problem-solving, leadership, decision making and communication skills.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
