Job Description

• Driving the construction site compliance of Occupation Health Safety and Environmental.
• Controlling construction site compliance with Legal and Company Policies, Procedures, and Guidelines.
• Assisting the factory to prevent OHS&E impact from the construction site.
• Performing factory risk assessment and Environmental Impact Assessment related to construction operations.
• Coordinating contractor team, and contractor safety officer to ensure OHS&E of construction.
• Controlling permits to work for construction site contractors including Job Safety Analysis.
• Inspecting and monitoring the site condition according to OHS&E regulations and permit to work.
• Performing regular basis Safety audits for the construction site operation.
• Being responsible for contractor OHS&E training, and construction site visitor introduction.
• Collaborating contractor team for construction site emergency preparedness and performing duties as determined in an emergency plan.
• Inspecting the conditions of construction equipment i.e. scaffolding, mobile crane, MHE, lifting equipment etc.
• Performing investigation and analysis of OHS&E accident, near miss related to construction operation.
• Gathering OHS&E issues, and suggestions and reporting to superiors and driving the improvement plan.
• Inspecting the readiness of all required safety signs, hazard warning signs and other signs as necessary.
• Collaborating contractor team to create and organize safety activities to enhance safety awareness.
• Preparing applicable OHS&E reports as necessary.
• Handling tasks according to company policies and supervisor’s assignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Occupational Health and Safety, Safety Engineer.
• Certificated as a Safety Officer at a professional level.
• Minimum 3 years experience in OHS roles and 1 year experience in the safety field in construction.
• Knowledge of construction safety of international standards, Thai regulations and related requirements.
• Knowledge and experience in implementing or maintaining the ISO 45001, and ISO 14001.
• Able to lead the construction site OHS&E management system.
• Knowledge and certificate of machine inspection-related construction operation (such as work at height, scaffolding safety, hot work etc.).
• English communication skills and computer program literacy.
