Job Description

PRTR IT Recruitment is looking for a Presales Engineer (Network Solutions) to join a Telecommunication Systems Integrator to help their customers/ partners study their solution requirements, and assist in giving them a consultancy level to come out with solutions proposed to their customers’s requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Expertise & Solution Design

    • Designing and proposing networking solutions for Campus (wired/wireless), Datacenter Networks, and Firewalls.
    • Working with sales to understand customer needs and develop solutions.
    • Delivering technical presentations, demos, and proof-of-concepts.
    • Assisting in creating Bill of Materials (BoM) and network diagrams.

  • Customer Engagement

    • Gathering customer requirements and acting as the technical point of contact.
    • Guiding best practices and new technologies.
    • Ensuring a smooth transition from presales to implementation.

  • Product Knowledge

    • Staying updated on networking technologies and trends.
    • Understanding the product portfolio and third-party integrations.
    • Participating in training and certifications.

  • Proposal & Documentation

    • Preparing technical proposals, RFPs, and pricing strategies.
    • Documenting and communicating solution designs to stakeholders.

  • Collaboration

    • Working closely with sales, product management, and engineering teams.
    • Providing feedback on customer needs and industry trends.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years experience in Campus Networks, Datacenter Networks, and Firewalls.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols, design, and hardware/software from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCDP) are a plus.

Preferred

  • Experience in network automation and cloud networking.
  • Familiarity with network security tools and technologies.
