Our client is a global auto parts manufacturer.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring the constant planning and monitoring of materials and production.
- Transforming the MPS into an adequate Master Requirement Planning, including raw material, components, and sub-contracting.
- Coordinating expediting and escalation processes.
- Contributing to the S&OP process by planning capacities and utilizations.
- Coordinating operative planning (MPS, MRP e Scheduling) based on customer orders.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction within the required service level, in line with contractual commitments and working capital targets.
- Minimizing special freight costs.
- Ensuring inventory coverage, while minimizing working capital.
- Monitoring consistency of production carried out vs production plan and identify proper actions with Production in cases of discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in production planning for automotive parts or components.
- Ability to calculate production capacity and understand Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Knowledge in terms of manufacturing, defect, 4M change and ERP systems.
- Good positive attitude and willingness to contribute to an organization.
- Good command of English for communication.
