Job Description

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Stylist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, a keen eye for aesthetics, and the ability to transform spaces into visually stunning environments. As an Interior Stylist, you will collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and then conceptualize and execute designs that exceed their expectations. Your primary goal will be to create inviting and functional spaces that reflect the client's personality and lifestyle.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with clients to determine their style preferences, budget, and functional needs.
• Conducting on-site consultations to assess the space and gather necessary information.
• Developing design concepts, mood boards, and colour schemes that align with the client's vision.
• Selecting and sourcing furniture, accessories, fabrics, and artwork to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the space.
• Coordinating with contractors, architects, and other professionals to ensure seamless execution of the design plan.
• Overseeing the installation and styling of furnishings, décor, and accessories.
• Providing guidance and recommendations on spatial layout, furniture placement, and lighting design.
• Staying up-to-date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and new materials.
• Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
• Providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Fine Arts, or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience as an Interior Stylist or similar role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing your design aesthetic and creativity.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction processes.
• Flexibility to travel to client locations and work evenings or weekends as needed.
• Passion for design and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
