Our client holds a prominent position in the food manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership and Continuous Improvement
- Together with the Supply Chain Manager, developing and executing a strategic vision and action plan for inbound logistics and warehouse management.
- Leading and coaching the Customs and Logistics Team to create a culture of continuous improvement by proactively proposing and implementing enhancement actions.
- Closely monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess performance, reporting in compliance with Plant and Lotus Group requirements.
2. Import, export and expedition
- Managing the team of admins in their day-to-day operations.
- Overseeing the customs and expedition operational activities.
- Manage the processes for the import of goods & materials.
3. Warehouse and Internal Logistics Management
- Managing the team of material handlers in their day-to-day operations.
- Overseeing warehouse activities, ensuring seamless material flows within the internal
- warehouses (Packaging Material, Finished Goods).
- Responsible for the putaway strategy.
- Responsible for quality control of incoming material.
- Responsible for setting up & managing the inbound processes and related logistic activities.
4. SAP
- Acting as the SAP Key-user for Warehousing and Logistics ensuring efficient system utilization.
- Taking ownership of Warehouse Masterdata.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in import & export and warehouse operation from food manufacturing.
- Expert in SAP knowledge, and stock movement modules.
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer focus and a commercial mindset.
- Strong organization and time management skills with pressure and ambiguity handled.
- Proficient in MS, report analysis preferably Power BI, query, advanced pivot, and Excel.
