PRTR IT Recruitment is supporting our leading international ICT solution provider, headquartered in Malaysia.

Job Description:

• Developing and implementing IT network, infrastructure, and security standards in compliance with global policies.
• Installing, configuring, and supporting network equipment, including firewalls, IPS, WAF, routers, switches, and other network devices.
• Administering network monitoring tools to analyze logs, identify performance issues, and respond to alerts.
• Troubleshooting and resolving customer tickets related to network connectivity, performance, and security, escalating to higher tiers when necessary.
• Providing support for user authorization reviews and ensuring adherence to security policies.
• Delivering day-to-day operational IT security and network support.
• Participating in crisis management, including service outages, by activating conference bridges and coordinating with cross-functional teams to restore services quickly.
• Actively participating in IT projects, ensuring tasks are completed effectively and deadlines are met.
• Creating and maintaining comprehensive network diagrams and technical documentation.
• Conducting network assessments to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
• Handling ad-hoc IT setups and configurations as needed.

Qualification:

• Thai nationality, age not over 35 years old.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Having 3–5 years of experience as a Network Engineer or in Network Configuration/Implementation.
• Possessing a strong understanding of networking principles and protocols, TCP/IP, LAN, and a wide range of network devices, including firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless access points.
• Demonstrating English communication skills (reporting to a Malaysian manager).
• Being able to work on a rotating shift schedule, including nights and weekends, to provide 24/7 support (rotating with team members).
