Job DescriptionÂ
- Assisting with day-to-day clerical responsibilities of the business (payables/receivables).
- Liaising with outside service providers to establish statutory and monthly reporting requirements.
- Tracking, maintaining, and analyzing customer data.
- Assisting in the collection and resolution of past-due accounts.
- Monitoring and controlling all accounts payable (AP) and finance activities.
- Controlling petty cash and clearing advances.
- Handling petty cash and cash advances.
- Managing bill placements, preparing payment vouchers, and issuing WHT certificates.
- Handling WHT and VAT transactions.
- Performing validation, depreciation, and movement of fixed assets.
- Gaining experience in month-end closing processes.
- Reconciling bank accounts.
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Financial Manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or a related financial discipline.
- At least 5 years of direct experience in the function, preferably within the automotive industry.
- 1-5 years of experience in accounting, specifically with AP, GL, and fixed assets.
- Extensive knowledge of business planning, analytical tools, and models.
- Ability to utilize information/reports from SAP financial modules.
- Knowledge of business tax and VAT, taxation, including all accounting reports, BOI processes, and proficiency in the SAP program.
- Good English communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
- Temporary position for 3 months.
