General Description of Duties and Responsibilities

• Engineering: Installing and commissioning telecom applications and software products, including platforms such as OS (Linux-based) and RDBMS (MySQL & Oracle), servers, mini-computers, and storage systems from the project initiation to PATC/FATC. Supervising subcontractors for hardware installation, as well as survey and design tasks.
• Corrective Maintenance: Handling trouble tickets according to SLA and the maintenance agreement.
• Preventive Maintenance: Conducting network inspections, system health checks, and early-warning deployment following the maintenance agreement.
• Operation Support: Providing regular system monitoring and maintenance.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, ICT, or a related field.
• Experience in telecom application and software project roll-outs and deployments.
• Technical support experience related to telecommunications software and applications, such as CBS (Convergent Billing System), VRBT (Video Ring Back Tone), CRBT (Color Ring Back Tone), digital services, billing, VAS, and cloud computing.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in UNIX (Linux), both at the OS and hardware levels, including Windows-based platforms and virtual machines (VM) in a cloud environment.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience with RDBMS such as Oracle, MySQL, and basic SQL commands.
• Sound knowledge of telecommunications principles, including 5G, 4G, LTE, GSM, NGN, and data communication/networking over TCP/IP protocols.
• Good command of both spoken and written English.
