Job Description
The Risk Management and Compliance Officer serves as the Secretary of the Risk Management Committee at the Company, overseeing risk management and ensuring compliance with the global code of conduct established by the Company Group. This role involves managing risk oversight, guiding compliance efforts, and handling legal documentation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Risk Management Oversight
- Acting as Secretary of the Risk Management Committee, organizing meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting minutes.
- Monitoring and ensuring that relevant units within the Company. address and manage assigned risks according to RMC directives.
- Collecting, consolidating, and analysing risk management reports and updates from various departments.
- Coordinating with departments to ensure timely identification, assessment, and development of risk management plans for assigned risks.
2. Corporate Compliance
- Ensuring that the company complies with the company Group’s global code of conduct.
- Implementing and overseeing the self-check process to assess compliance across various categories of the code of conduct.
- Reviewing self-assessment reports and provide feedback or corrective actions as necessary.
- Addressing and resolving any compliance issues that arise.
3. Persuasion and Monitoring
- Persuading and guiding departments to adhere to global compliance requirements and deadlines.
- Tracking the progress and effectiveness of compliance activities within the Company.
- Addressing challenges or delays in compliance reporting or implementation.
4. Legal Work and Documentation: 30%
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) or equivalent; Master’s degree (LL.M) is preferred.
- At least 2-4 years of experience in compliance, or risk management roles.
- preferably within a multinational corporation.
- Strong knowledge of Thai legal system and regulations
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in English and Thai languages
