Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Manager to oversee financial operations in the medical device sector.
This role requires expertise in pricing analysis, financial reporting, and tax compliance to ensure accurate and efficient financial management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, leadership, and in-depth knowledge of industry-specific financial practices.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and analyzing pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
- Evaluating market trends, cost structures, and customer needs to recommend pricing adjustments.
- Collaborating with sales and marketing teams to implement pricing models.
- Overseeing the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and other key financial reports.
- Monitoring cash flow, budget forecasts, and the overall financial health of the business.
- Ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting to stakeholders.
- Managing the accounts payable and receivable processes to maintain smooth operations.
- Implementing controls to optimize payment cycles and cash flow.
- Reviewing and approving vendor payments and customer collections.
- Ensuring compliance with local tax laws, including VAT and other applicable regulations.
- Preparing and filing tax returns accurately and on time.
- Liaising with tax authorities and external auditors for audits and assessments.
- Leading and mentoring the finance team to drive efficiency and accountability.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align financial objectives with business goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the medical device or healthcare industry.
- Strong knowledge of pricing analysis, balance sheet management, and tax regulations (including VAT).
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions.
- Proficiency in English.
