Our client is a well-established and reputable company in the medical industry, seeking a Vice President of Accounting.

This senior leadership position will involve overseeing all aspects of accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of financial reporting and tax filings. Reporting directly to the CFO and CEO, you will play a key role in maintaining robust internal controls and driving accounting best practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading Accounting Operations: Managing daily accounting operations, ensuring adherence to internal controls, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Preparing & Validating Accounts: Supervising the preparation of accounts and validating the periodic account closure process.
• Overseeing Financial Reporting: Managing the preparation and consolidation of financial statements, ensuring timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Ensuring Compliance with Reporting Standards: Ensuring that financial statements and reports comply with applicable standards and submission deadlines.
• Managing Tax Compliance & Reporting: Overseeing all aspects of tax compliance, including planning, reviewing, and ensuring tax filings are following tax laws and regulations.
• Handling Government Reporting: Ensuring the timely submission of required tax and financial reports to government agencies.
• Leading Policy and Compliance Initiatives: Leading initiatives related to accounting policy, internal controls, and compliance, ensuring alignment with company standards and regulations.
• Supervising Team Management & Settlement Reports: Supervising the head office settlement reports and ensuring all activities align with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Developing Team Performance: Providing guidance and leadership to the accounting team, fostering professional growth, continuous learning, and high performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting.
• Extensive experience in accounting, including leadership roles in large-scale operations.
• Proven track record in managing financial reporting and tax compliance for a publicly listed company.
• Familiarity with publicly listed company regulations and reporting practices.
• Excellent communication skills, both in English and Thai.
