Job Description

Our client is a leading global manufacturer of specialty materials.

Responsibilities:

• Handling the machine installation and commissioning.
• Proposing modification and implement new plant equipment to meet specific production requirements, improve existing processes, reduce operating costs and ensure production output. 
• Conducting preventive maintenance plan for plant equipment following production schedule, to ensure equipment performs safely and optimally.
• Supervising and controlling all maintenance activities.
• Analyzing the model change process, recommend an implementation plan and propose the solution to improve labor, material, and electrical machine utilization.
• Analyzing and troubleshooting the PLC, Robotic, machinery, and tooling maintenance problems.
• Developing the operation and maintenance team to maximize machine operating efficiencies or introduce new methods or procedures for overall improvement
• Participating in budget establishment and control maintenance costs to be optimized.
• Ensuring compliance with Company policies on safety, health loss prevention, and environmental protection.
• Supporting the training initiatives that ensure staffs are aware of and comply with company policies, government regulations, and customer policies/requirements, procedures, and regulations.
• Standing by in case of urgent issues related to facility and equipment.
• Maintaining all facilities and utility readiness.

Qualifications:

• Obtain Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in mechanical/ electrical engineering, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Strength in preventive maintenance program and management of maintenance activities.
• Knowledge of PLC / Robotic systems.
• Possess good problem-solving techniques, diagnose breakdowns and perform root cause analysis to prevent a recurrence.
• Able to communicate in both written and spoken English.
• Strong leadership, coaching,, and decision-making skills.
