Job Overview

The ideal candidate should have 10 years of global sourcing experience in the multinational automotive industry, experience in people management and being a leader in project management.

The job involves managing material control, supporting NPI processes, overseeing strategic purchasing, sourcing in the SEA region, and developing a local supplier base to facilitate exports abroad. 

Responsibilities

• Managing and handling material control and continuous saving projects.
• Coordinating with the engineering team to support the New Product Introduction process (NPI).
• Handling Strategic purchasing/sourcing across the SEA region and analysing market intelligence to create plans to support business growth.
• Leading supplier development and supplier audit to ensure product/material quality and cost.

• Manage facilities and equipment maintenance plan and improvement.
• Responsible for the application of HSE guidelines according to the local laws and regulations and global compliance policy from DyStar. Also observe changes relevant to local laws and regulations.
• Utilize the equipment and supporting facilities to maintain a high level of productivity and reliability.
• Monitors plant expenditures and budget.
• Implement a continual improvement plan and processes to upgrade operation to ensure high level of safety and reliability.
• Responsible for the implementation of the global production guideline and strategy: Production, warehouse & distribution, transportation, supply chain, manufacturing, HSE, technical, projects, quality.

• Improve plant maintenance; RO system, RO tank, Boiler, water flow meter & pump.

• Setting maintenance time table of all major machines & equipment’s.
• Cooperation with Production Supervisor to maintain and improve our chemical production process: quality, and cycle time.
• Develop a high safety standard by following the zero-lost time goal and also comply with local HSE laws and regulations
• Improve & Develop Waste Management plan and action list.
• Improve constantly the environmental and yearly sustainability plan.
• Improve space management for Raw Material and FG to make sure that we are using our space efficiency and effectively. And proper storage location and risks according to GHS storage identification.
• Provide a proper training and skill development to his manpower in order to achieve a high performance, awareness in HSE and GHS labelling.
• Develop a good team work and disciplinary within the team to company rules and regulation.

Qualification:

• 25-32 years old
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical engineering, engineering or higher.
• At least 3 year experiences in production engineer or direct related experiences in dye chemical or related industry 
• Good command in English communication both of speaking and writing
• Has certificates in ISO:9001(2015 version), HSE, and has knowledge in Boiler, Carbon Footprint,Sustainability, factory law, Safety, Hazards, Environments (Ecology) is preferred
• Creativity, Open-mind, Willing to learn, Active
• Proficient in Microsoft office, SAP
• Has own car and driving license is preferred
