  • Performing as a key person in the middle management team to push sales to meet or exceed sales targets in contract markets.
  • Analyzing the market situation and coming up with contractor sales strategies for the Country Sales Director and Regional Director ASEAN.
  • Supervising and recommending solutions to problems for the Sales Contractor team.
  • Setting sales contractor KPIs and monitoring the performances on a monthly basis.
  • Co-leading the weekly sales meeting with the Specification Manager and Country Sales Director for project follow ups and discussing opportunities for substitutions.
  • Co-leading formalizing and implementing sales strategies that optimize the profitability of new product launches and applications products (i.e. bonded products, compact for applications, Vivix, CHguard, vinyl flooring, etc).
  • Providing feedback to Customer Service, Supply Chain and Operations on customer needs and expected service levels.
  • Acting as a role model in relation to health & safety policy for the Sales team.
  • Being responsible for initiatives of all related sales activities to achieve company sales goals.
  • At all times, working in line with company values and safety acts.
  • Actively contributing to maximize pricing, MI and the realization of strategic goals.
  • Assisting in preparing and conducting new product presentations to all contractors and OEM customers in Bangkok, and 2nd-3rd tier sites.
  • Reporting on new business opportunities and providing market intelligence on market overviews to management on a weekly/monthly basis.
  • Providing accurate sales forecast to the Management team.
  • Quoting prices to contractors at max capacity of own authority level.

Qualifications:

  • Male or female, aged over 35 years old, with a pleasant personality.
  • Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in project sales functions involving construction products.
  • Must be experienced in selling construction products, project sales as well as handling with contractor key account clients.
  • Must have been working at managerial level.
  • Good English communication skills and willing to travel.
  • Knowledge of laminated & building products, system products, exterior wall cladding (façade) will be an advantage.
  • Have good connections with contractors and people in the construction & building industry.
  • Self-motivated with proven problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Mature, confident, strong people management ability and a good team player.
